Journeys Collection

Taking inspiration from reef, rainforest, art and architecture, Melanie Hava’s artwork is an enchanting combination of landscapes, colour and pattern. Born to a Dulgu-barra/Wari-barra mother from the Mamu tribe and an Austrian father, Melanie’s diverse heritage combines to create a range of vibrant designs in her Journey’s collection. Each piece in the collection celebrates her distinct aesthetic and is available on a range of homewares, including mugs, tea towels and drink bottles.

Under the Sea Collection

Koh Living is endorsed by the Indigenous Arts Code

This season we are releasing Melanie Hava’s new ‘Under the Sea’
collection which will remind us of some of the things we love about
Australia.

“These paintings are influenced by the landscape of my
home, the traditional land of the Rainforest Aboriginal people,
right next to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef.” “My people are the
Mamu. Our traditional lands are now internationally recognised, as the
Wet Tropics of Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef are both World
Heritage Areas. These places and their stories are irreplaceable and
priceless to our people, to Australia and to the world. Sharing and
caring about our World Heritage Areas is so important and it is my
passion to share these stories through my paintings.”
