Melanie Hava x Greenigo

I present to you the Jigay (earth) Collection because everything alive on earth comes from the earth. This collection consists of some of my favourite Australian birds and animals to paint. Our ‘old ones’, our ancestors lived as one with their country and the earth provided for them. Our native birds and animals still live as one with the earth and its fauna and the earth always provides for them. The closer we are connecting with our surrounding nature and earth, the more happiness and serenity we find in ourselves and our lives.

Under the Sea Collection

Koh Living is endorsed by the Indigenous Arts Code

This season we are releasing Melanie Hava’s new ‘Under the Sea’
collection which will remind us of some of the things we love about
Australia.

“These paintings are influenced by the landscape of my
home, the traditional land of the Rainforest Aboriginal people,
right next to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef.” “My people are the
Mamu. Our traditional lands are now internationally recognised, as the
Wet Tropics of Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef are both World
Heritage Areas. These places and their stories are irreplaceable and
priceless to our people, to Australia and to the world. Sharing and
caring about our World Heritage Areas is so important and it is my
passion to share these stories through my paintings.”
